Hi, I'm NotOrdinaryJersey and I'll tell you about my Baltic Week. I was in Riga, Latvia from August 9th to 19th. I watched 6 football matches. Riga FC vs Ogre 4-1, Rfs riga vs grobina 6-1, Rfs-jablonec 1-2, Nomme United vs Tartu Tammeka 0-1, Riga FC vs metta 4-1 and Auda vs Grobina 3-2. I organized this trip with a focus on football. During the trip, I also visited the Riga Mariners, a team playing in the Latvian second division. It was a fantastic experience, I saw many goals but also very beautiful stadiums like the Skonto Stadium, known from the times of Skonto Riga, a bankrupt club that won 14 titles in a row and also LNK Sporta parks,Rfs Riga Stadium, small but very modern. Nomme United stadium is also very particular, practically in the middle of nature, not exactly a forest but in the middle of greenery. I did something crazy on the day of the Nomme United match. I left Riga at 7am to go to Tallinn by bus, I visited Tallinn during the morning and in order to see the match I returned to Riga at 3am the next morning. During my trip I also enriched my collection with 6 matchworn shirts ,one more beautiful than the other. Do you know how my trip to Latvia began? In May I was looking for a FK Ventspils matchworn shirt, a team that went bankrupt in 2021 and was then refounded, currently in the second Latvian division. After finding it and two days after receiving it I booked my trip to Latvia. The funny thing is that I booked during a period when I was likely to see few matches but fortunately in the end they went from 3 safe matches to 6. On the first day, both Riga FC and Rfs were playing when I booked, and luckily the Rfs match it was postponed to the next day and I managed to see the match . Luckily, two cup matches were added: Riga FC vs. Metta and Auda vs. Grobina, so it was a success. From 3 to 6 . It was a sensational experience for me, a different kind of football, just the way I like it, where money doesn't rule.
